Official Sabine Parish Jail Roster
The Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Aaron Mitchell, publishes the local inmate roster through the OCV roster system. The public web wrapper is the Sabine Parish Inmate Roster, and the same data is exposed through the direct OCV inmate feed. The feed returned 200 records when inspected on June 16, 2026. It showed a public list of names, booking dates, demographic fields, charge blocks, bond amounts by charge, arresting agencies, and image links for many entries.
The roster should be read as a current local custody and booking tool. It covers people booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center or the Sabine Parish Women's Jail, including pretrial detainees, parish jail inmates, and people held on warrants or other local holds. It does not replace court records after a prosecutor files charges. It also does not track a person after transfer to Louisiana state prison, federal custody, or ICE custody unless the feed still has a local booking entry.
Local custody point: For a live release, bond, or hold question, call the Sabine Parish Detention Center at 318-256-0006 before relying on a roster entry.
Use the Sabine Parish Inmate Roster
The public roster is simple. It is not an advanced database with booking-number, date-of-birth, facility, date-range, or charge filters. The OCV configuration found in the sheriff web manifest has search enabled, a list limit of 10 records, clickable feed items, and a load-more pattern. Names in the feed use an all-caps last, first, middle format, so a last name is usually the cleanest first search.
- Open the official OCV inmate roster from the sheriff site or the sheriff app.
- Use the search text box to enter a name, partial name, charge term, or other visible roster text.
- Review the feed list and use the load-more control if the first set of results does not show the person.
- Open the matching list item to read booking date, charges, counts, bond amount required, arresting agency, and the image field if one is present.
- If the person is not found, call detention, check VINELink for state custody, or use the federal and ICE locators when those custody types fit the case.
Some feed entries inspected in June 2026 had older booking dates. That does not prove a fixed retention rule or a release rule. Treat older entries as published feed records, not as proof that all released people stay online for a set time.
Sabine Parish Roster Search Fields
The Sabine Parish County jail roster search fields are limited to the public OCV feed controls. The roster is useful because it is broad text search, but the lack of advanced fields matters when a name is common or a booking is old. No separate DOB, booking-number, charge dropdown, or facility filter was found in the public configuration.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search | Text | Unspecified | OCV feed config has showSearch true; it appears to filter visible feed text such as name or charge. |
| Feed/list item | Clickable entry | Optional | The list title is the inmate name, usually in LAST, FIRST MIDDLE format. |
| Load more / pagination | Button or list behavior | Unspecified | The public wrapper uses a limit of 10, while the direct feed contained 200 records when inspected. |
| No advanced fields | Not available | Not available | No booking-number, DOB, facility, date-range, or charge dropdown was found. |
Sabine Parish Inmate Profile Fields
A Sabine Parish County inmate profile is a booking-facing record. It is not the full jail file. The public feed gives enough detail to match the person and understand the booking charge list, but it withholds several internal jail fields. Housing pod or cell, court date, warrant number, judge, release date, date of birth, statute number, booking officer, bond type, total bond field, and release status were not shown in the public feed reviewed.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Name/title | Inmate name in capitalized roster title format, usually last name first. |
| Booking Date | Date and time booked into parish custody. |
| Gender/Race/Age | Basic public demographic fields from the roster entry. |
| Height/Weight/Hair/Eyes | Physical descriptors; unknown values may appear as N/A, XXX, or 0 lbs. |
| Inmate ID | Local jail identifier, separate from any state DOC number. |
| Arresting Agency | Agency abbreviation, including entries such as SPSO, MPD, LSPE, or JUDC. |
| City/State | Residence or location text tied to the public roster record. |
| Charge Description | Booking or hold charge label listed in the feed. |
| Counts | Count number per charge, or N/A where the feed does not give one. |
| Bond Amount Required | Per-charge amount or N/A/$0; bond type is not shown. |
| Image | Mugshot/photo URL for many entries, or a missing-image placeholder. |
Sabine Parish Booking Records
Booking begins after an arrest by the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office, Many Police Department, Louisiana State Police, a court source, or another agency. The person is taken into the male detention center or the courthouse women's jail based on placement. Intake normally creates or updates the booking date, local inmate ID, photo, descriptors, arresting agency, and charge blocks. A charge on the roster is an allegation or hold label at the custody stage. It is not a conviction.
Bond fields on the roster deserve care. The roster shows Bond Amount Required by charge, but it does not show bond type, accepted payment method, who may post bond, or whether a separate hold blocks release. A person can have a money amount listed and still be held on a warrant, probation/parole issue, federal warrant, fugitive warrant, transfer order, or no-bond entry. For court filings after booking, the court records after jail arrest page is the better path because the prosecutor and clerk records can differ from the jail roster.
Sabine Parish Jail Facilities
Sabine Parish has two sheriff-operated local custody facilities in the research set. The primary male jail is the Sabine Parish Detention Center in Many. Female inmates are housed at the Sabine Parish Women's Jail on the third floor of the courthouse. Both are tied to the same sheriff roster and sheriff records process, but the facility location and capacity are different.

Sabine Parish Visitation Status
An official local visitation schedule was not located in the sheriff OCV pages inspected. Do not assume a day, time, visit length, dress rule, visitor count, device rule, or video-visit price. The safest approach is to confirm with detention before traveling, especially because the women's jail is inside the courthouse and may have building-security rules that differ from the male detention center.
| Facility | Published Schedule Status | Call Before Visiting |
|---|---|---|
| Sabine Parish Detention Center | No official day/time schedule found in the inspected source set. | Call 318-256-0006 for approval, ID, dress, property, visit type, and current restrictions. |
| Sabine Parish Women's Jail | No official day/time schedule found in the inspected source set. | Call dispatch at 318-256-9241 or detention at 318-256-0006 before going to the courthouse. |
| Attorney or professional visit | No separate public schedule found. | Call the jail or warden's office to confirm entry and scheduling rules. |
Mail rules were also not located in the official pages reviewed. Use the jail phone line before mailing books, packages, photos, money orders, or property. Ask whether mail is scanned, whether legal mail has a separate process, and whether the inmate must be listed on the roster before items are accepted.
Request Sabine Parish Jail Records
If a Sabine Parish County inmate record is missing from the roster, incomplete, or needed as a formal copy, use the sheriff public-records channel. The sheriff public-records page cites La. R.S. 44:33.1 and routes requests to the Sabine Parish Sheriff at 400 S Capitol St, Many, LA 71449 and/or publicrecords@sabinesheriff.org. The posted cost is $1.00 per page for physical or electronic documents. Video, audio, or other electronic media costs the actual storage-media cost, such as a USB drive or CD.
A clear request should name the person, booking date if known, local inmate ID if known, requested record type, and whether a booking photo, booking sheet, charge list, or release record is sought. Louisiana Public Records Law, including La. R.S. 44:31, La. R.S. 44:32, and La. R.S. 44:33, supports public inspection and copying unless an exception applies.
County, State, Federal, and ICE
Sabine Parish County inmate records are split by custody level. The parish roster is for local sheriff custody, which often means pretrial detention, short parish sentences, warrant holds, or people waiting for transfer. A person sentenced to Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections custody may move outside Sabine Parish and become easier to track through Louisiana VINELink. A federal sentence or federal transfer points to the BOP inmate locator. Immigration custody points to the ICE detainee locator.
| Custody Type | Best Starting Point | What It Usually Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Local pretrial or parish custody | Sabine Parish OCV roster and 318-256-0006 | Current local booking, charges, bond amount required, photo if available. |
| State sentenced custody | Louisiana VINELink / DPS&C | State custody status, notifications, and facility movement after transfer. |
| Federal custody | BOP locator or U.S. Marshals context | Federal sentenced records or federal transfer after local booking. |
| Immigration custody | ICE detainee locator | ICE custody location or status, not a parish mugshot gallery. |
Sabine Parish Inmate Vendors
The sheriff Inmate Information page links inmate communication to CityTeleCoin. It also links Tiger Commissary separately for male detention and the women's jail. The male service route uses the Sabine Parish male facility code, and the female service route uses the Sabine Parish female facility code. No official fee table for CityTeleCoin or Tiger Commissary was captured in the sheriff source set, so rates, deposit limits, refund rules, and service charges should be checked inside the vendor flow before funds are sent.
- Tiger Commissary for male detention
- Tiger Commissary for the women's jail
- Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office app share page for app access to roster, most wanted, news, tips, and public-record routing
Confirm custody before sending funds. A person may be released, transferred, or listed under a name variation before a vendor account is ready.
Common Sabine Parish Roster Terms
The roster uses short labels that can be easy to misread. These plain-language definitions keep the Sabine Parish County inmate record separate from the later court record.
- Booking
- The jail intake event after arrest, including identity, photo, charges, and custody entry.
- Charge
- The alleged offense or hold label listed at booking; it may change in court.
- Count
- The number of alleged violations tied to a listed charge.
- Bond
- Money or conditions set for release; the Sabine roster lists amount required, not bond type.
- Detainer or hold
- A separate legal reason that can keep a person in custody even when a bond amount appears.
- VINELink
- Louisiana's statewide custody search and notification route, separate from the parish roster.
